Shannon Bazilewich

OWNER, BA, MOT, OT Reg. (MB)

Shannon has a Masters in Occupational Therapy (University of Manitoba) earned in 2009, with research in client and family-centred practice. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and is certified in functional abilities evaluations (FAE). Shannon has a special interest in the role of occupational therapy in medical legal cases and is highly experienced working with individuals with mental health conditions, acquired brain injuries, and chronic health conditions. Shannon has worked in various settings and has experience with a variety of assessments including ergonomic assessments, personal care assessments (PCA), job demands analysis (JDA), and percentages of duty. Shannon holds full membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists, College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba, and Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists.

 
 
 
 

Megan Appleton

Megan has been working as a pediatric occupational therapist since 2014. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy after first completing a Bachelor of Health Sciences minoring in Psychology at Western University. She has extensive experience servicing school-aged children with various needs including development of self-regulation skills, fine motor skills, written output, sensory processing differences, social skill development, the advancement of life skills, and building capacity to perform activities of daily living. In addition, she has worked with pre-school aged children and families to support functional skill development. Megan believes in utilizing science-based and practice-informed knowledge to assist families with planning and goal-setting meaningful outcomes for their children. She also regularly provides education sessions to parents and school teams regarding sensory processing skills, methods and approaches to support adult and child regulation, and developing fine motor and printing skills. Megan holds full memberships with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists, College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba, and the Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists.


Lindsay Singh

Lindsay has two Master’s Degrees; one in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport and the other in Occupational Therapy from the University of Manitoba. Lindsay completed research in the work-life balance for occupational therapist mangers working in the private practice sector during her graduate studies. Currently, Lindsay focuses her practice on completing comprehensive functional assessments (including functional abilities evaluation) and working with adults and older adults implementing adaptive interventions to enable them to achieve maximal functional potential in their day-to-day lives. Lindsay holds full membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists, College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba, and Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists. 


 

Celeste Perez

Celeste has over 25 years of experience in acute medicine, sub-acute rehabilitation and providing specialized services to personal care homes in the Winnipeg and surrounding area. Celeste focuses her practice working with the adult and geriatric population and has earned her certification in Functional Abilities Evaluation. Celeste holds full memberships with Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists, College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba, and Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists.

 

 

Pam Bachewich

Pam has been working as an occupational therapist since 2016. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy after first completing a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology with Honours and Minor in Sociology. She has a variety of work experience from working up north in The Pas and from working various positions in the City of Winnipeg over the years in long-term care, acute care, outpatients, community programs in the WRHA, and private practice. Pam has experience with a variety of assessments and services including ergonomic assessments, personal care assessments (PCA), job demands analysis (JDA), worksite assessments, return to work programs – conditioning; mental health; cognition, anxiety counselling related to return to work, wheelchair/seating assessments, home/equipment assessments, and percentages of duty assessments. Currently, Pam focuses her practice on working with those who have had motor vehicle accidents and completing PCAs, seating assessments, providing equipment and service recommendations, and providing education. Pam is also employed with the WRHA and works in community and acute care/rehab sites with individuals who have various neurological, physical, cognitive, and communication deficits due to Stroke. Pam holds full memberships with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists, College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba, and the Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists.

 

 

Katelyn Rach

Katelyn graduated with a Master’s of Occupational Therapy in 2020 from the University of Manitoba and holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and Conflict Resolution Studies from the University of Winnipeg. Katelyn has experience working in neurological rehabilitation, in specialized wheelchair seating, and with adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. She is motivated to discover ways that clients can regain independence in their lives and return doing the things they love the most, either with adaptive equipment, assistive technology, or rehabilitation. When Katelyn is not working, she enjoys spending time with her golden retriever, Apollo. Katelyn holds full memberships with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba.

 

 

Julia Stefanko

Julia has been working as an occupational therapist since 2020. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. She has considerable experience working with adult and geriatric populations in low acuity hospital environments, providing occupational therapy services to clients with neurological conditions, and completing a variety of cognitive and functional assessments with clients. She has experience working in mental health settings and assisting clients with adopting coping skills using CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) and DBT (dialectical behaviour therapy) approaches. Julia holds full membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba.

 

 

Kamille Legaspi

Kamille holds a Master’s in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Manitoba. With a focus on adult and older adult populations, she has gained valuable experience in acute care, conducting functional and cognitive assessments, and providing equipment recommendations for discharge planning. Recently, Kamille has broadened her professional scope to specialize in rehabilitation, working with adults facing neurological conditions, amputations, and spinal cord injuries. Her expertise extends to personal care assessments for insurance providers and conducting ergonomic assessments in workplace environments, contributing to the creation of safer and more accommodating workspaces. Kamille holds full memberships with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba and has experience mentoring students from the Occupational Therapy Program, demonstrating her commitment to professional excellence and ongoing professional development.
